The ADSP contributes to an understanding of the complex displacement dynamics at play across Asia through research, knowledge sharing, and learning partnerships. With a current focus on displacement from Myanmar, as well as the Afghan displacement axes, ADSP continues to contribute to the creation of a clear evidence base which it uses to inform advocacy, support effective programming interventions, and bring a field-led perspective to policy processes.

The adoption of the Global Compact for Refugees and Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework provide opportunities to rethink traditional responses to long-term displacement, and ADSP seeks to capitalise on this and other policy developments, creating a forum in which challenging and imaginative advocacy and policy development initiatives can develop.
