Welcome to the ADSP’s Q4 Newsletter for 2020. In this issue we have contributions from members working in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as colleagues from the Mixed Migration Centre (MMC) . Our colleagues at Relief International in Pakistan share the findings from their research in relation to the impacts of noise pollution on Pakistani children’s hearing loss and education performance, particularly for those living near the airport.

Also from Pakistan, we have a case study and some reflections regarding access to education for Afghan refugee children amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Balochistan. The article highlights the essential nature of education during this time, and the efforts that have been made to try and ensure continuity of education for refugee and host children.
